Handcrafting espresso with Flair is artful and fun, and you’re always in control.” The promise of the Flair Espresso Maker, from their Kickstarter Campaign is “you craft your espresso the old-fashioned way, making exactly what you want. We love the idea of portable, non electric devices that deliver you something much closer to authentic espresso than, say a stovetop moka pot. One successful Kickstarter project is the Flair Espresso Maker. Some are just boring, “who needed that” items, some are nice projects that fill a niche, and some of them turn out to be fantastic additions to the specialty coffee scene. But that doesn’t mean we don’t celebrate and get enthusiastic about Kickstarter success stories, because they do exist. So… we don’t promote any Kickstarter, or other crowd funding projects any longer on CoffeeGeek. That policy, since ended, has resulted in losses of literally thousands of dollars. A few years back, our website had plans to support “viable” projects so we could get new, exciting products as early as possible to evaluate and let you know about. So many coffee related projects have hit the dust, burned supporters, and were never realised. We have a love/hate relationship - mostly hate - here at CoffeeGeek with Kickstarter.
